Kuauhtli's years of involvement in the movement for human rights and activities to preserve the indigenous ways of life served as preparation for his current path bringing ceremonies around the world.
For the past 30 years, Kuauhtli has dedicated himself to conducting Mexica ceremonies of "Xochitl in Cuicatl" (Flower and Song), Native American Church tipi meetings, Temazcal (sweat lodge) and Mexica danza.
Kuauhtli has visited 40 countries while actively promoting the legalization and medical research of peyote and other entheogens. He's participated on panels, films, festivals and shared his music world-wide.
Kuauhtli is co-founder of the non-profit Xinachtli.co
Our mission at Xinachtli is to protect, nourish and cultivate the gifts our ancestors sowed for us many generations ago. We want to share the beauty of our indigenous cultures, and offer those who have been touched by these lineages the opportunity to connect more deeply with the essence of our traditions.
For the past 15 years, Xinachtli has been working in the preservation of the endangered peyote catctus through our NAC Teocali Quetzalcoatl. Through active efforts of protecting and preserving these plants, by replanting and regenerating the natural ecosystems, we can do our part to foster sacred plants and traditions while contributing to a larger cause of rebalancing humanity's relationship with Mother Nature.
Costa Rica ~ Feb. 20-27, 2024
Immerse yourself in a week-long plant medicine retreat held by the ancient knowledge of sacred lineages and the healing essence of plants. The synergy of ancestral culture fuels personal evolution and global consciousness through initiations into embodiment and ceremony. Music to nourish the soul and prayers for all our relations.
By donating to this cause, you are helping to preserve indigenous plants and traditions of the Mexicatl, Comanche, Apache, Coatlhuilteco, and many other native peoples of the area. You will help to take the first steps that are increasingly needed to restore peace and balance between humanity and the ecosystems of the earth, as well as between the different nations.
